Jang Na Ra returns with Kim Hye Yoon joining the cast as ‘Good Partner 2’ unveils teaser

SBS’s hit drama 'Good Partner' is officially returning with a second season.

On January 1, the production team of 'Good Partner 2' released its first teaser video, signaling the comeback of actress Jang Na Ra as a formidable divorce lawyer. The new season also introduces Kim Hye Yoon, who joins the series as a rookie attorney.

In the teaser, Jang Na Ra makes a strong impression with the confident line, “Just trust me.” Kim Hye Yoon immediately fires back with, “No, trust me!” hinting at the bold ambition and spirited attitude of her newcomer character.

'Good Partner Season 1' concluded in September 2024 and followed the story of a star lawyer for whom divorce is second nature, alongside a rookie attorney handling divorce cases for the first time. The series depicted their partnership and personal growth as they navigated complex cases together.

Jang Na Ra previously starred alongside Nam Ji Hyun, with the duo earning praise for their sweet yet sharp “womanance” chemistry that delivered both emotional resonance and cathartic moments. The drama explored the heavy subject of divorce from multiple perspectives, striking a balance between realism and empathy.

Written by a practicing lawyer, the series was noted for its authenticity. According to Nielsen Korea, 'Good Partner' premiered with a 7.8 percent viewership rating and went on to achieve a peak rating of 18.7 percent, cementing its success.

'Good Partner 2' is scheduled to be released later this year.
