Jennie returns to the Met Gala for the 4th time, stuns in couture elegance
by Alec06 · allkpopJennie of BLACKPINK is drawing attention for her fashion at the Met Gala.
Jennie attended the 2026 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
This year’s dress code was “Fashion is Art.” Jennie walked the red carpet wearing a dress from luxury brand C, for which she serves as a global ambassador. The dress featured a corset design embellished with sequins, and she completed the look with single drop earrings and pale makeup, creating an elegant and captivating mood. The dress is said to have been handcrafted by skilled artisans over 540 hours.
This marks Jennie’s fourth appearance at the Met Gala, and she has consistently made headlines for her bold fashion choices. At her first Met Gala in 2023, she wore a white mini dress reinterpreting C’s Fall/Winter 1990 collection. In 2024, she showcased a striking style with an asymmetrical cut-out mini dress paired with a pearl chain belt.
Last year, she wore a black satin jumpsuit that revealed her shoulders, accented with pearl cabochon stones, a pearl necklace, and a white silk camellia with jeweled buttons. The outfit was inspired by C’s Fall/Winter 1987 collection and featured a black satin overskirt with a white taffeta lining and suit pants. Jennie completed the look with a two-tone boater hat, creating an androgynous mood.
First established in 1948, the Met Gala is the world’s largest fashion fundraising event, hosted annually by Vogue and the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and held on the first Monday of May each year.
In addition to Jennie, other Korean artists who attended this year’s event included Jisoo, Rosé, Lisa, Karina, Ningning, as well as actors Ahn Hyo Seop and Jung Ho Yeon.
