Kim Go Eun debates '19+' scenes with Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook for potential 'Goblin' cast reunion

Actors Gong Yoo and Kim Go Eun shared a playful debate about what project they would film together next, joined by their 'Goblin' co-stars.

On the July 12 final episode of the tvN variety special marking the 10th anniversary of 'Goblin,' Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na joined Gong Yoo and Kim Go Eun to look back on the drama and talk about future possibilities.

When Yoo In Na asked, "What kind of drama would you want to film if the four of us worked together again?" Gong Yoo suggested a complicated melodrama in which he and Kim Go Eun were a couple while his character was secretly involved with Yoo In Na's. Lee Dong Wook said the idea sounded "too tiring," and Gong Yoo described it as a "messy, passionate melodrama."

Kim Go Eun said she preferred a realistic romance. "I want to do something where we fight a lot. With words. Like a long-term couple fighting realistically," she said. When Lee Dong Wook joked, "How can we fight more than we already do? Just take the cameras away," she added, "I want to capture that. The fact that we fight really well."

Kim Go Eun then gave an unexpected reason for avoiding passionate melodramas. "The reason I don't like passionate melodramas is that you have to manage your diet, because you have to take your clothes off," she said, drawing surprise from the group.

Yoo In Na reacted, "What's wrong with our girl?" and Lee Dong Wook asked, "Do you absolutely have to have a bed scene?"

Kim Go Eun replied, "You don't take your clothes off? You just kiss? In a passionate melodrama?" Gong Yoo closed the discussion, saying, "Anyway, please contact us. Anyone, if you have any intention of producing this."
