TOMORROW X TOGETHER unveil TENSION concept highlighting relationship dynamics

TOMORROW X TOGETHER has unveiled the third visual concept for their upcoming release.

On March 31st, TOMORROW X TOGETHER (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Huening Kai) released the “TENSION” version concept photos for their eighth mini album '7TH YEAR: When the Wind Stopped in the Thornbush' through official channels.

While the previously revealed “THORN” and “HUNGER” versions depicted the five members trapped in thornbushes and the primal hunger following a storm, the “TENSION” version focuses on the subtle tension that arises from relationships and the gaze of others. Compared to earlier versions, this concept presents a different yet equally intense atmosphere, enhanced by the members’ striking visuals.

In the photos, TOMORROW X TOGETHER creates a taut mood by gazing in different directions. The thorn-patterned purple wallpaper adds a sense of tension throughout the space, while their mismatched gazes and emotional distance—despite being in the same place—suggest cracks within relationships.

In unit photos, this tension becomes even more pronounced—Soobin and Beomgyu stand close yet look in different directions, Taehyun and Huening Kai face off, and Yeonjun observes them, completing a powerful visual narrative.

Meanwhile, TOMORROW X TOGETHER will unveil the final “ANXIETY” version on April 2nd, completing all four visual concepts for the album. The eighth mini album will be released on April 13th at 6 PM. The album reflects the thoughts and emotions the group has experienced over the past seven years and marks their first release since renewing their contracts with BIGHIT MUSIC, raising anticipation among fans.
