NCT WISH captures growth and emotion in ELLE ‘D Edition’ cover

NCT WISH has graced the cover of ‘D Edition’, a special digital project by ELLE.

The newly released D Edition cover and pictorial capture the group’s present moment as they mark their 2nd debut anniversary and stand at the threshold of a new leap forward. The project visually portrays the six members’ journey of growth on stage, as well as the expanded emotional spectrum shaped through their relationship with fans, Czennies.

Leader Sion reflected on moments when the distance between the group and their fans felt closer, saying, “On stage, when I could directly see fans’ expressions and hear their cheers, I truly realized how many people are supporting us.” He also shared the team’s aspiration, adding, “We want to become a group that naturally brings a smile to people’s faces.”

Riku, who is currently preparing for the group’s first full-length album set to be released on April 20th, said, “We hope this album will allow not only Czennies but also many more people to naturally discover us.” Looking back on the past two years, he also cited their solo concert as the most memorable moment.

Ryo expressed his hopes for listeners, saying, “I hope everyone can listen to the full album and find at least one song they love.” He also conveyed excitement about expanding the group’s musical possibilities through diverse attempts. Yushi described the upcoming album in one word—“love”—explaining, “The emotions we want to convey through music ultimately connect to love.”

Sakuya reflected on their growth since debut, sharing, “Our current goal is to move forward in the same direction and at the same pace as the members.” Jaehee emphasized gratitude during the album production process, adding, “Rather than being someone grand, I want to be someone the members can comfortably talk to whenever they need.”

Throughout the interview, NCT WISH highlighted their sincerity toward the stage, their fans, and their teamwork. Each member spoke about growth, responsibility, and their passion for music, describing the present as “a process we are building together.”
