Jung Hae In and Lee Min Ho join 'Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival' as Honorary Judges

Actors Jung Hae In, Choi Soo Young, Jo Jung Suk, Shim Eun Kyung, and Lee Min Ho will help discover the future of Korean short films.

The organizers of the 'Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival' announced on May 19, “Jung Hae In, Choi Soo Young, Jo Jung Suk, Shim Eun Kyung, and Lee Min Ho will participate as honorary judges for the 22nd Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival.”

The stars will oversee judging for five competition sections. Jung Hae In will review entries in the 'Take Care of My Cat' (Drama) category alongside directors Kim Do Young and Kim Hyung Joo.

Choi Soo Young will serve in the 'Jealousy Is My Strength' (Melodrama) section with directors Oh Seung Uk and Lee Ok Seop, searching for new talent. Jo Jung Suk will judge the 'Conduct Zero' (Comedy) section.

Shim Eun Kyung will join directors Hwang Dong Hyuk and Hong Eui Jeong for the 'Epitaph' (Horror) category. Lee Min Ho will oversee the 'Nowhere to Hide' (Action) section and review submitted works.

The Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival is Korea’s only genre-based short film festival. Established in 2002, the event marks its 22nd edition this year. It has previously discovered acclaimed filmmakers, including Kim Han Min and Na Hong Jin.

Meanwhile, the festival will take place from June 18 to June 23 at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Seoul.
