ILLIT Tops Japan with “It’s Me,” Lands on Apple Music Top Albums in 70 Countries

ILLIT has captivated global listeners with their addictive new track.

On April 30, the group released their fourth mini-album, 'MAMIHLAPINATAPAI,' and is currently promoting its title track “It’s Me.”

The song has been gaining strong traction following their appearances on music shows. “It’s Me” climbed to No. 1 on Japan’s AWA rising chart and ranked No. 3 on China’s QQ Music chart.

Interest in the album has also been intense. MAMIHLAPINATAPAI entered Apple Music’s “Top Albums” chart in 70 countries and regions (as of May 2), reaching No. 1 on Apple Music China.

The music video is also drawing significant attention. “It’s Me” ranked on YouTube’s “Daily Top Music Videos” chart in 39 countries and regions, hitting No. 1 in Singapore and No. 4 in South Korea.

The members’ playful expressions and witty direction appear to have resonated with fans worldwide. The video also secured No. 11 on YouTube’s global chart (as of May 1).

Meanwhile, ILLIT will perform at the Japanese music festival “Japan Jam 2026” on May 4. They are also set to host the “ILLIT Seoul Children’s Grand Park Festival” on May 5.
