Jeon So Min concludes play 'Lungs' with heartfelt thanks after final show

Jeon So Min has wrapped up her role in the play 'Lungs,' which held its final performance on August 2 at Seoul's Chungmu Art Center after a roughly three-month run.

Staged as part of the Theater Festival's 20th anniversary, the production was adapted from British playwright Duncan Macmillan's original work. It examined modern themes through the intimate conversations of a man and a woman, tracing romance, pregnancy, miscarriage, birth, and death across a 90-minute story.

Jeon So Min played the 'woman,' a character who constantly reflects and strives to become a better person. She shared the stage with actors Park Sung Hoon, Lim Ju Hwan, and Kim Kyung Nam. The minimalist set relied on dialogue and performance to convey decades of life experiences.

After the closing performance, Jeon So Min shared her gratitude through her agency, Make It Studio, on August 4. She thanked the audience for their support "from the cool spring days through the hot summer," along with the director, fellow actors, and staff who worked with her from the first rehearsal to the last show.

She also acknowledged the audience's focus and immersion during each performance, and expressed hope to return with new projects and characters while wishing everyone good health during the hot season.

With 'Lungs' now behind her, attention turns to the projects Jeon So Min will take on next.
