BIG HIT MUSIC Launches Teen Hip-Hop Training Program 'HIT IT BASE 2026'

BIGHIT MUSIC, the agency behind BTS, has announced the launch of its teen hip-hop training program 'HIT IT BASE 2026.'

The program offers free professional hip-hop training to male teenagers born between 2008 and 2016. Participant applications open on May 18, while choreographer Aiki and rapper Nowimyoung will appear as the MC and guest artist for the final showcase.

BIGHIT MUSIC will host the professional hip-hop training program 'BIGHIT MUSIC HIT IT BASE 2026' for teenagers passionate about music.

'HIT IT BASE 2026' is designed to provide teenage boys who love hip-hop and music with BIGHIT MUSIC’s professional training experience free of charge. The program focuses on teaching participants how to turn their personal stories into music, along with practical know-how and creative guidance.

Any male born between 2008 and 2016 who is interested in rap and hip-hop or passionate about music can apply. Applications will be accepted online through the official BIGHIT MUSIC Audition website from May 18 to June 28. Applicants must submit one front-facing photo and a short video showcasing their passion. Videos may cover various topics, including rap performances, self-introductions, reasons for applying, or self-cam clips introducing their favorite hip-hop songs.

A final group of 20 participants will undergo intensive training across 10 sessions held every Saturday and Sunday from July 11 to August 9. The curriculum, led by experienced professional instructors, will cover topics ranging from the history of hip-hop and songwriting techniques to stage preparation and styling lessons.

The program will conclude with a “Final Show” at Seongam Art Hall on August 16. The 20 participants will perform team stages alongside trainers and showcase the skills they developed throughout the program in front of a live audience. Aiki will serve as the MC for the event, while Nowimyoung will join as a guest artist to heat up the stage.
