CUBE Entertainment warns of legal action against leaks of unreleased artist content

On June 9 KST, the agency released an official statement expressing gratitude to fans for their continued support while addressing recent cases involving the illegal sharing of unreleased materials online.
According to CUBE Entertainment, the company has identified multiple instances in which unreleased music and related content were leaked and circulated across various online platforms. The agency emphasized that the unauthorized disclosure, distribution, and redistribution of unreleased works constitute clear violations of copyright law and can cause significant damage to both artists and the overall content production process.
The company revealed that it has been continuously monitoring illegal distribution activities and collecting evidence related to the violations. Based on the evidence gathered so far, CUBE Entertainment stated that it is currently preparing legal action against those responsible.
The agency further warned that any future acts involving the unauthorized leaking, sharing, distribution, or redistribution of unreleased music and content will be met with strict legal measures without leniency or settlement.
CUBE Entertainment also noted that individuals may face legal liability not only for sharing leaked materials but also for engaging in secondary editing, modification, processing, or redistribution of such content.
