Kim Chung Ha and Jeon Somi return to 'Running Man' after 6 years, reuniting in special episode

Singer Kim Chung Ha and Jeon So Mi are making their long-awaited return to SBS’s variety show 'Running Man,' appearing together for the first time in six years in an upcoming broadcast on May 3.

The special episode features a 'Color Determines Your Fate' race, where outcomes are decided by assigned colors. It also celebrates the 10th debut anniversary of project girl group I.O.I, adding extra significance to the reunion.

During filming, Kim Chung Ha and Jeon Somi were greeted with an enthusiastic response from the cast and quickly energized the set with a nostalgic medley of I.O.I hits, including “Pick Me,” “Dream Girls,” and “Very Very Very.”

Their return also drew attention for a behind-the-scenes story involving the group’s reunion, with Kim Chung Ha revealing she played a key role in helping bring the members back together, sparking curiosity about the process behind the long-awaited comeback.

The duo also showcased their upgraded variety skills, revisiting the iconic “Bang Bang” dance and engaging in a playful rivalry over center position. Kim Chung Ha further impressed with a performance of her solo track “Gotta Go,” highlighting her strong stage presence.

The episode of 'Running Man' airs on May 3 at 6:10 PM (KST).
