ATBO parts ways with IST Entertainment after contract termination

Group ATBO is set to part ways with their agency.

On December 17th KST, IST Entertainment released an official statement announcing, “After a long period of sincere discussions with the members, we have decided to terminate our exclusive contract with ATBO.”

The agency explained, “We carefully reviewed each member’s present and future, their direction of activities, dreams, goals, and potential for growth. Above all, we concluded that respecting the artists’ own wishes and supporting each of their paths forward was the best decision.” They added, “Jung Seung Hwan, who is currently serving in the military, also took part in the discussions after giving deep thought to the team, the members, and the fans.”

IST Entertainment continued, “We will sincerely cheer on the members as they embark on a new beginning, and we hope to see them shine even more in the future.”

ATBO debuted in July 2022 as a six-member group under IST Entertainment, formed through MBN’s audition program 'The Origin – A, B, Or What'.
