SM Entertainment has officially announced the conclusion of its exclusive contract with TEN.

On April 6, SM Entertainment released a statement saying, “After in depth discussions regarding TEN’s future activities, we have mutually agreed to conclude his exclusive contract as of April 8. We will continue to coordinate so that TEN can participate in WayV and NCT group activities in the future.”

The agency added, “We sincerely thank TEN for showcasing outstanding talent both as a group member and as a solo artist since his debut. We wholeheartedly support his new beginning.”

SM also emphasized that it will continue to fully support WayV moving forward, and promised to do its best for fans who continue to support the group.

The news follows earlier reports of Mark parting ways with SM Entertainment and withdrawing from NCT 127. In TEN’s case, however, the possibility of participating in WayV and NCT activities remains open, drawing attention from fans.
