Kim Hye Soo and Cho Yeo Jeong lead unpredictable black comedy series 'Infidelity is Not the Problem Right Now,' premiering July 31

Kim Hye Soo and Cho Yeo Jeong are set to dive into a story filled with unexpected twists and total chaos.

Coupang Play announced on July 2 that its new original series, 'Infidelity Is Not the Problem Right Now' (literal translated title), written by Jung Eun Kyung and Park Soo Rin and directed by Lee Chang Hee, will premiere on July 31.

The series is a chain-reaction black comedy centered on two couples whose lives become dangerously intertwined: a celebrity influencer couple and a doctor couple locked in a bitter divorce battle.

The newly released teaser poster introduces Kyung Hee (played by Kim Hye Soo), a self-made influencer, smiling brightly while holding a selfie stick in an upscale residential neighborhood. Beneath the polished image, however, signs of looming disaster emerge.

In the background, the silhouette of an embracing couple and a man pressing his ear against a wall beside a shattered family portrait hint at hidden secrets and growing tension.

While the drama begins with the familiar premise of infidelity, it quickly veers into an entirely unexpected direction. As the characters spiral out of control, their increasingly reckless choices drive the story toward an unpredictable and exhilarating conclusion.

The star-studded cast is one of the series' biggest draws. Kim Hye Soo plays the ambitious influencer Kyung Hee, while Cho Yeo Jeong takes on the role of Soo Jung, an elegant and sophisticated dermatologist.

Kim Ji Hoon stars as Jae Hong, Kyung Hee's younger husband, whose irresistible charm captivates her. Kim Jae Chul plays Bo Sung, Soo Jung's secretive husband, who is in the middle of divorce proceedings.

The series is directed by Lee Chang Hee, known for his stylish work on acclaimed dramas including A Killer Paradox and Hell Is Other People.

Adding to the anticipation, acclaimed filmmaker Hwang Dong Hyuk—the creator behind the global phenomenon 'Squid Game'—serves as the producer through his production company, Firstman Studio.

'Infidelity Is Not the Problem Right Now' will premiere exclusively on Coupang Play on July 31 at 8 PM KST.
