Kang Mi Na expressed her support for the reunion of I.O.I.

On April 29 KST, Kang Mi Na attended an interview at a café in Jongno, Seoul, where she spoke about her recent activities and her absence from I.O.I’s 10th anniversary comeback.

When asked if she felt disappointed about not participating, she explained that the reunion had been in preparation since the second half of last year. However, due to her packed schedule—including the recent completion of a drama shoot, upcoming filming, and promotional activities—she ultimately decided she would not be able to join.

She shared that she had communicated this to the members, adding that it was the best decision she could make under the circumstances.

The remaining I.O.I members are set to release their new album 'I.O.I: LOOP' on May 19 and hold a solo concert from May 29 to 31 at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul.

Kang Mi Na emphasized that her bond with the members remains strong, saying they continue to support one another even without frequent communication. She noted that even small interactions on social media convey their encouragement, expressing her gratitude and affection toward the group.

When asked about the possibility of making a surprise appearance at I.O.I’s events, she said she would like to, but it may be difficult due to her lack of information about rehearsal schedules and timing.

Meanwhile, Kang Mi Na’s latest Netflix series 'If Wishes Could Kill', released on April 24, follows high school students who struggle to escape a deadly curse triggered by a mysterious wish-granting application.
