"Winwin will conclude all NCT activities," the company confirmed in their statement. SM Entertainment also expressed its gratitude, adding, "We thank Winwin, who has been with us for over 10 years since his trainee days, and we will cheer for his future as he embarks on a new journey."
Winwin first debuted in 2016 as a member of NCT 127 and has been active across various units, including NCT U and the China-based unit WayV.
In recent years, he has also been actively pursuing an acting career in China, starting with the 2023 drama 'Sweet Games' and taking on roles in several other productions.
This news follows other recent contract changes within the group. In April, fellow member Mark's contract with SM Entertainment ended, leading to his departure from the group. That same month, Ten also concluded his exclusive contract with the agency but will continue his activities as part of NCT.
