Sandara Park reveals why she was never caught dating fellow celebrities “Even if they came to my place, I didn’t go out”

On January 7, a video titled 'Why on earth did 2NE1’s Sandara Park join the Kim Sook line?' was released on the YouTube channel VIVO TV.
In the video, one netizen asked Sandara Park, “You once said in an interview that you only dated celebrities but were never caught even once. What was your secret?”
Sandara Park responded honestly, saying, “There is a secret. The secret to not getting caught is simply not meeting up. Because of that, none of my relationships really lasted. From the other person’s perspective, it probably felt very frustrating. I used to say, ‘If I go outside, I will get photographed.’ They probably thought, ‘How big of a star does she think she is?’ Even if they came to the dorm or stood outside my place, I would not go out. I did not even eat a single meal with them.”
Comedian Kim Sook reacted by saying, “Back then, reporters were basically stationed at group dorms all the time. That explains why there were no photos at all. You did not meet anyone.” Sandara Park laughed and joked, “I was basically in a cyber relationship.” Kim Sook teased her in response, saying, “I think she might have fallen victim to a romance scam.”
Kim Sook then asked whether Sandara Park could now date more confidently if she met someone she truly wanted to be with. Sandara Park answered, “Of course. If I am going to be photographed anyway, I would rather be photographed looking pretty. At this point in my career and at my age, things are different now.”
Her candid remarks offered insight into the extreme caution she once exercised to protect her privacy, as well as her more relaxed and confident outlook on dating today.
