Kim Se Jeong released her first single album ‘Solar System’ on December 17 at 6 PM KST, marking her long-awaited comeback through a reinterpretation project.

‘Solar System’ is a remake of a song originally released by Sung Si Kyung in 2011. Reimagined in Kim Se Jeong’s own style, the track adds a fresh emotional tone. It delivers a warm message of comfort to those who continue living at their own pace while carrying the traces of past love.

Sharing her thoughts on the album, Kim Se Jeong explained that she wanted to convey the feeling of becoming someone’s sunlight and world, gently revolving by their side like the moon and stars. This approach has raised anticipation for a different mood and imaginative depth compared to the original version.

Musician Jukjae participated in the project, further enhancing the song’s overall quality. He revealed that the arrangement was crafted to fully highlight Kim Se Jeong’s emotional expression, unfolding the song’s feelings like an actor’s monologue.
