KISS OF LIFE release third single "Sweat" with vibrant summer energy

KISS OF LIFE made their comeback on August 4 with the release of their third single "Sweat," a track built around the effort behind their journey.

The group met with the press at a café in Gangnam, Seoul, reflecting on their quick return just four months after their previous single "Who is She." They spoke about how their close bond and constant communication keep their creativity going.

Following their 2024 summer hit "Sticky," which earned them the nickname "summer queens," the group returns to the season with a new sound. Member Belle explained that the album carries a message about the hidden hard work behind a polished image, hoping to inspire confidence in fans.

The title track "Sweat" blends electronic pop with Latin rhythms over an Afro-house base. Member Haneul described its mood as dancing in a desert at sunset, a contrast to the bright beach-party feel of "Sticky."

While the members did not write or compose the song, Belle took part in the selection process, seeking advice from producers to find a track that matched the group's current style. She noted that the most demanding moments came during intense practice, as the choreography calls for strong endurance.

The members also addressed earlier feedback about their performance style, saying they take all responses into account while staying confident in their fun and empowered image.

With "Sweat," KISS OF LIFE continue their run as summer favorites while sharing a message about perseverance and self-belief.
