Apink's Bomi tears up reading heartfelt letter from fan's mother ahead of her wedding

Apink's Bomi teared up while reading a letter from a fan's mother.

Recently, a video on her YouTube channel showed Bomi going on her first ever staycation ahead of her wedding. After wrapping up two weeks of Apink's promotions, Yoon Bomi headed off on her trip, saying, "I booked a hotel in Seoul for the first time."

Sharing that it was her first time planning a hotel staycation, Bomi expressed, "It’s my first time booking a hotel just for a staycation, so honestly I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do. Maybe it would be nice to rest well and take time to think about what my body needs."

After stopping by the practice room midway, Bomi added, "I didn’t really do anything, but I think I understand the charm of a staycation. After finishing work, coming to a new space instead of going home feels nice. It’s clean and refreshing."

Once she arrived at the hotel, she ordered room service and spent time coloring in a coloring book. She emphasized, "I think it’s important to intentionally make time just for myself. I don’t know exactly how I should spend time on myself, but I do know that I need to."

Later, Bomi took out a letter written by a fan’s mother. The letter said that the entire family had become fans of Apink and that 'if Apink were to disband, it would feel like losing our joy.'

The letter also shared how the mother feels proud seeing her daughter grow up with Apink and now earn her own income. She wrote that although she sometimes hopes her now grown daughter will go out and meet a boyfriend, her daughter has said that her greatest joy comes from none other than Apink.

As she read it, Bomi’s eyes welled up with tears. Holding back her emotions, she said, "Crying alone during a staycation while reading a letter would be too much, so I’ll try to hold it in," showing how deeply she was moved by the fan’s sincerity.

Meanwhile, Bomi recently announced that she will hold her wedding in May with producer Rado, whom she has dated for nine years.
