&TEAM has been announced as a headliner for the globally recognized charity concert Global Citizen Live.

According to Global Citizen, the event will take place on June 18 at Tokyo International Forum. &TEAM will lead the lineup alongside Japanese American artist AI and Yuki Chiba, with actor Chris Peppler serving as the main host. All ticket proceeds will be donated to the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.

Global Citizen, founded in 2008, is an international movement dedicated to ending extreme poverty. Over the years, world renowned artists such as Beyoncé, Coldplay, Rihanna, Ed Sheeran, Mariah Carey, Billie Eilish, and Red Hot Chili Peppers have participated in its events. In 2021, BTS also took part in Global Citizen Live, performing “Permission to Dance” and “Butter” at Sungnyemun in Seoul, while Jungkook headlined the Global Citizen Festival in 2023.

By taking the stage as a headliner at this year’s event—marking its first edition in Japan—&TEAM is expected to further expand its global presence. The group’s name, which reflects the idea of connecting diverse individuals into one team, aligns closely with the spirit of the event.

Through their agency, the group shared, “We are honored to participate in such a meaningful event that supports children’s education and health. The power of music to connect different worlds is a value we hold dear, making this opportunity even more special.”

Meanwhile, &TEAM is set to release their third Japanese mini album ‘We on Fire’ on June 21, with the title track and full album to be unveiled in advance on June 13.
