ATEEZ member Hongjoong attended the '27th Jeonju International Film Festival' as a music director for the film 'Hallucination,' marking another milestone in his expanding artistic career.

On May 7, Hongjoong met fans during a GV (Guest Visit) session held at CGV Jeonju Gosa, where he shared insights about the film’s music production and creative process. The 'Jeonju International Film Festival' is known for spotlighting independent and arthouse cinema, introducing audiences to alternative trends in contemporary filmmaking.

Hallucination received a special screening at one of the festival’s largest theaters. Hongjoong attended the event as the film’s main music director, drawing attention for his involvement in the project beyond the music industry.

The film follows Ralphie, a fashion editor who, almost like an AI herself, develops feelings after giving personality and emotion to an AI named Cole.

During the GV event, Hongjoong spoke closely with audiences about the soundtrack, answered questions, and discussed the inspiration behind the film. He expressed his gratitude by saying, “It was an honor to participate as the music director for a film through such a meaningful opportunity. Watching the music and newly created sounds fill the scenes of the movie gave me a lot of inspiration.”

He added, “I hope Korean independent films can reach even more audiences. I also want to continue exploring new creative projects in various ways.”

Hongjoong personally worked on the track “BLEEDING LIGHT,” written from the perspective of Ralphie as the character begins to experience emotions she should not feel toward the AI protagonist. For the ending theme “NOTHING LEFT,” which captures the film’s lingering discomfort and emotional tension, Hongjoong not only helped produce the song but also contributed vocals, leaving a powerful impression on viewers.

Beyond music and film, Hongjoong has continued to expand his global presence. Recently, he was selected as a global ambassador for the World Vision campaign 'Global 6K for Water' and also appeared as an honorary falconer during an LAFC match at BMO Stadium.

Meanwhile, 'Hallucination' also drew attention for featuring Hongjoong’s older brother, Beomjoong, in the lead role.
