KATSEYE performs at New York Festival 'The Governors Ball'
by Helena-son · allkpopGlobal girl group KATSEYE successfully performed at 'The Governors Ball 2026' in New York on June 6. They sang for 50 minutes in front of tens of thousands of music fans, performing popular songs like "PINKY UP", "Debut", "Internet Girl", and "Gabriela".
The members wore special "I♥NYC" shirts written in their native languages to show their love for the city. They thanked the crowd, saying they could feel everyone's amazing energy. A video of famous American rapper Cardi B and her daughter happily singing and dancing to KATSEYE's performance in the audience also went viral on social media.
Created by HYBE and Geffen Records, KATSEYE was formed through the global audition show 'Dream Academy'. They mix the K-pop training system with the global pop market. Since their official debut in 2024, they have grown incredibly fast. They recently won three prizes, including "New Artist of the Year," at the American Music Awards 2026.
