Tiffany reveals why she married Byun Yo Han before having a wedding

On the April 5 episode of the JTBC TV show 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator', Girls' Generation's Tiffany shared a sweet story about her marriage to actor Byun Yo Han.

Tiffany explained why the couple legally registered their marriage before holding an actual wedding ceremony. She shared, "A wedding is important, but spending every single day together is even more important to us. That is why we became a legal couple first."

The host, Ahn Jung Hwan, asked if it was simply because she wanted to be with him as soon as possible. Tiffany happily smiled and said, "Yes."

Her bandmate Hyoyeon admitted she was very surprised by the news. She joked that she thought Tiffany might never marry because she is so focused on her career. Tiffany sweetly replied, "The person to share my precious time with simply appeared." Meanwhile, the youngest member, Seohyun, actually opposed the marriage at first! She cried and told Tiffany, "I can't let you go, my sister!" Tiffany made everyone laugh by realistically answering her, "Seohyun, I am 37 years old."

Tiffany and Byun Yo Han first met while working together on the 2024 Disney+ series 'Uncle Samsik'. They officially became husband and wife this past February. While they do not have an exact date or place for a wedding yet, their agency shared that the couple is planning to have a small, quiet ceremony with just their family in the future.
