HYBE launches new label ABD for new girl group produced by Han Sung Soo

HYBE has announced the launch of ABD, a new label dedicated to girl group production.

ABD, short for “A Bold Dream,” embodies the label’s creative philosophy of pursuing unconventional, flexible, and playful ideas that push beyond norm. The name also challenges the conventional belief that what comes after "A" and "B" is "C", showcasing its devotion to bold, innovative creativity.

ABD will be led by Noh Jiwon, who previously served as Head of Artist Planning at PLEDIS. She will oversee the label’s overall management and strategic direction as president, drawing on her experiences from her time at PLEDIS and MORE VISION.

Looking ahead, ABD is set to debut its first girl group in the second half of 2026. Han Sung Soo, Master Professional (MP), widely recognized as the creative mastermind behind artists including SEVENTEEN, After School, IZ*ONE, and TWS, will lead the group’s overall production - spanning music, concept, and performance.

HYBE Labels stated, "The establishment of ABD once again embodies HYBE's project of securing IP diversity and advancing K-Pop production capabilities. Through its new girl group, ABD will put forth novel musical and conceptual experiments, igniting fresh change in the global music market."
