TVXQ releases Japanese single ‘IDENTITY’ for 20th anniversary film

‘IDENTITY’ serves as the OST for the Japanese debut 20th anniversary film ‘東方神起 20th Anniversary Film 「IDENTITY」’, which is set to premiere locally on February 20. The track was released at midnight on global music platforms and has been receiving a positive response.
The song carries the message that the bond formed with precious people through overcoming many obstacles represents both “one’s true self” and “a place to return.” As such, it invites listeners to look back on TVXQ’s long journey together, making the final chapter of their 20th Japanese debut anniversary even more meaningful.
The anniversary film also marks TVXQ’s first movie to be screened in Japanese theaters. In addition to candid interviews with Yunho and Changmin, audiences will be able to experience vivid concert performances on the big screen, heightening anticipation among local fans.
Meanwhile, TVXQ will hold ‘東方神起 20th Anniversary LIVE IN NISSAN STADIUM [RED OCEAN]’ on April 25–26 at Nissan Stadium. With this concert, they are expected to set a new record as the first and most-performing overseas artist at the venue, continuing to write a new chapter in their history.
