TWICE has set a new record for K-pop girl groups, attracting approximately 550,000 fans across their North American tour alone.

The group is currently carrying out their world tour 'THIS IS FOR,' which began in Incheon and continued through Asia and Australia. Their North American leg, which ran from January through April 18 in Austin, included a total of 35 performances across 20 cities.

A remarkable 550,000 attendees turned out for the North American shows alone, making TWICE the K-pop girl group with the highest concert attendance in the region to date. Originally scheduled for 22 shows in 20 cities, the group added additional dates after tickets quickly sold out.

Extra performances were added in cities including Vancouver, Seattle, Oakland, Dallas, Washington, D.C., Belmont Park, Hamilton, Orlando, Boston, Chicago, and Austin. In Los Angeles, TWICE extended their stay with two additional concerts, lighting up the city with their energy over four days.

The tour featured a 360-degree open stage, allowing fans from all sections to enjoy an immersive concert experience. TWICE performed a mix of solo stages and tracks such as “Strategy” from their 14th mini album, which has enjoyed long-running success on the Billboard Hot 100, as well as “Takedown” from the 'K-pop Demon Hunters' original soundtrack.

At the final North American stop in Austin on April 18, a special fan-made video was played during the closing moments of the show. The members shared, “We started the North American tour in January and performed over 30 shows. Hearing ONCE tell us ‘you’ve worked hard’ makes it feel like it’s really over. We’re truly grateful to all the fans who came to see us.”

Following their North American success, TWICE is set to make history in Japan as well. From April 25 to 26 and on April 28, the group will hold three solo concerts at the Japan National Stadium in Tokyo, becoming the first overseas artist to headline the venue. With a capacity of around 80,000 per show, the performances are expected to further solidify their immense popularity and ticket power in the Japanese market.

Marking their 9th anniversary since their official debut in Japan this year, TWICE is poised to demonstrate both strong fandom support and widespread public appeal at one of the country’s most iconic venues.
