Netflix unveils ‘The Wonderfools’ teaser and character posters

Netflix has released the first teaser and character posters for its upcoming series The Wonderfools, set to premiere on May 15.

'The Wonderfools' is a comic superhero adventure set in 1999, following a group of unlikely individuals who suddenly gain superpowers and must band together to protect the world from emerging villains.

The newly revealed character posters are designed as collectible-style cards, showcasing each member of “Team Wonderfools” along with their unique abilities. Park Eun Bin appears as “Eun Chaeni,” demonstrating teleportation through layered imagery and motion blur. Cha Eun Woo takes on the role of “Lee Woon Jung,” wielding telekinesis with a striking presence.

Meanwhile, Choi Dae Hoon portrays “Son Kyung Hoon,” whose sticky ability is humorously visualized as he clings to the screen, and Im Sung Jae plays “Kang Robin,” shown punching through a wall with a mix of seriousness and surprise.

The series also marks Cha Eun Woo’s return to the screen following his recent tax issue, which he addressed by confirming that all related taxes—reportedly totaling 13 billion KRW (approximately $8.7 million USD)—have been fully paid.

With its blend of humor, action, and unique characters, “The Wonderfools” is drawing attention as one of Netflix’s anticipated releases this spring.
