Park Mi Sun visits father-in-law’s grave amid cancer battle, shares emotional family moment

Comedian Park Mi Sun revealed a heartfelt moment from her time battling cancer.

On May 5, Park Mi Sun uploaded a video filmed in September 2025 to her personal channel. At the time, she had halted all broadcast activities while undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

In the video, she appears excited, saying she was heading out to meet loved ones with her children. She stopped by a department store in Daejeon and visited a Chinese restaurant run by her husband, Lee Bong Won. Playfully promoting him, she said, “If you come here, you can see this person,” while Lee Bong Won added with a shy smile, “I’m only here on Thursdays and Sundays. Photos and autographs are welcome.”

Park Mi Sun also explained her shaved hairstyle, noting that it was shortly after completing chemotherapy.

Traveling with her husband and their children, she shared that they were heading from Daejeon to Geochang to visit her late father-in-law’s grave. “We couldn’t hold memorial rites during the holidays, so we came to pay our respects. It’s my first visit since I got sick, so I think he’ll be happy to see me,” she said with a bright smile. She spent time with her family holding a simple memorial ceremony at the site.

Park Mi Sun was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer and paused her activities in February 2025 to focus on treatment. After completing chemotherapy, she resumed activities in November of that year by appearing on 'You Quiz on the Block', hosted by Yoo Jae Suk.
