EXO's Suho hilariously reveals his past internet ID was 'The face of Daechi-dong'
by spjw99 · allkpopEXO's Suho recently had fans and fellow celebrities laughing as he shared some hilariously confident stories from his school days, including his old internet nicknames.
On the July 1 episode of the YouTube channel 'okiki,' Suho appeared as a guest alongside actress Ji Ye Eun. When the topic of past internet IDs came up, Suho revealed his first one was "Yoonjoongganjiwal." He explained it meant, "The swag of Yoonjoong speaks," referencing the Yoonjoong Elementary and Middle Schools he attended while living in Yeouido.
The story didn't end there. Suho shared that after his family moved to the affluent Daechi-dong neighborhood in Gangnam, he changed his ID to "Daechi-dong Ganpan," which translates to 'The Face/Signboard of Daechi-dong.' The reveal sent the studio into a fit of laughter, with host Gabee playfully remarking, "He knew he was handsome since way back."
Suho's confidence was backed by his popularity. When his childhood photos were shown, revealing the same distinct features he has today, he simply nodded when asked if he was an 'ulzzang' (a popular good-looking person). He also recalled his popularity during the Cyworld era, stating, "During school festivals, if I went out to have fun, my 'Today' [daily visitor count] would shoot up."
These anecdotes add to Suho's well-known 'elite' background. He previously gained attention for being from an affluent family, with his father being Kim Yong Ha, a respected economics professor at Soonchunhyang University.
