BTS's V (Kim Taehyung) wins "Trend of the Year - K-pop Solo" award at the 2024 Korea Grand Music Awards

On November 17, the second night of the inaugural Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA) took place. Organized by Ilgan Sports, the event recognizes artists with exceptional achievements in the Korean music.

Kim Taehyung, aka V of BTS, received the "Trend of the Year - K-pop Solo" award, making him the only BTS member to win at the 2024 Korea Grand Music Awards.

This achievement adds to an impressive list of accolades Taehyung has secured this year, despite being on hiatus since December 2023 due to his mandatory military service. 

His other notable wins include honors from the iHeartRadio Music Awards, Seoul Music Awards, Hanteo Music Awards, The Fact Music Awards, Korea First Brand Awards, and several others.

Taehyung's multiple wins in 2024, despite being on hiatus, highlight his enduring influence as a solo artist and the deep connection he maintains with his fans.
