NOWZ to release heartfelt fan song ‘Us’

NOWZ will release its new digital single “Us” on May 13 KST.

According to CUBE Entertainment, the group recently unveiled the music video teaser for the upcoming song through its official social media channels.

The teaser captures warm moments of the members — Hyunbin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk, and Siyoon — looking affectionately at their fandom DAY_AND during their first fan concert, creating the feeling of scenes from a nostalgic film.

Accompanied by a refreshing band sound, part of the lyrics, “Here is our beginning,” was also revealed, raising anticipation for the release.

“Us” expresses the precious memories NOWZ and their fans have built together and the members’ desire to cherish those moments for a long time through the group’s delicate emotional style.

The track is especially meaningful as it was first introduced during NOWZ’s first fan concert 'Run with me, NOW' in March and was self-composed by leader Hyunbin. Members Jinhyuk and Siyoon also participated in writing the lyrics.

Celebrating its second debut anniversary last month, NOWZ has continued to gain attention both in South Korea and overseas, including in Japan. Earlier this year, the group showcased a new musical direction with the title track “AMMO (Feat. YRD Leo)” from its first Japanese EP “NOWZ.”

The group later expanded its Japanese activities through appearances on ABEMA and TV Tokyo programs.

“Us” will be released through major music platforms at 6 p.m. KST, and NOWZ will perform a special stage for the song on 'Show! Champion' later that day.
