Lee Young Ja attends Choi Jun Hee’s wedding, honoring friendship with late Choi Jin Sil

On May 17, Choi Jun Hee shared behind-the-scenes photos from her wedding day through social media. In the images, she posed warmly with guests who visited the bridal waiting room, including Lee Young Ja, who had been one of Choi Jin Sil’s closest friends.
The photos especially drew attention as Lee Young Ja and Choi Jun Hee mirrored each other’s poses, creating a touching moment that symbolized the lasting bond between the families.
Earlier, Choi Jun Hee had uploaded a video from her 2004 first birthday celebration featuring her late parents, actress Choi Jin Sil and former baseball player Cho Sung Min. In the clip, Lee Young Ja could be seen congratulating young Choi Jun Hee and expressing affection for her.
After sharing the old footage, Choi Jun Hee reflected emotionally on how her mother had once joked during the event that the same guests should return for her daughter’s future wedding. She expressed gratitude and amazement that many of those people were indeed present at her wedding years later.
Choi Jun Hee married her non-celebrity fiancé, who is 11 years older than her, at a hotel in Seoul’s Gangnam district on May 16. The ceremony was hosted by Jo Se Ho and attended by several of Choi Jin Sil’s close celebrity friends, including Uhm Jung Hwa, Lee So Ra, Jung Sun Hee, and Hong Jin Kyung.
In place of her late parents, Choi Jun Hee’s older brother Choi Hwan Hee took on the ceremonial role during the wedding. Choi Jun Hee later shared heartfelt thanks, saying the overwhelming support and love from attendees made the day unforgettable.
