Comedian Shin Giru mourns mother’s passing

Comedian Shin Giru is mourning the loss of her mother.

According to her agency JDB Entertainment, Shin Giru’s mother, Lim Young mi, passed away on the evening of March 17 due to deteriorating health. She was 68 years old.

Shin Giru is currently staying at the funeral hall, spending time with her family and receiving condolences.

The funeral has been set up at Suil Nakwon Incheon Funeral Hall, with the funeral service scheduled for March 20 at 6:30 AM. The burial will take place at Incheon Family Park, followed by enshrinement at the Incheon City Memorial facility.

Shin Giru debuted in 2005 through KBS2’s ‘Gag Club’ and later became an SBS comedian in 2007, continuing her career in entertainment. She married a non celebrity partner in 2019.
