'K-Pop Demon Hunters' has secured two nominations at this year’s Academy Awards, earning recognition in the Best Animated Feature category as well as Best Original Song for its breakout track, “Golden.”

Netflix’s hit animated film has continued to shine since its release last June. The movie and its chart-topping song have already enjoyed a strong awards-season run, taking home both Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song at the Critics' Choice Awards before repeating the feat at the Golden Globe Awards earlier this month.

In the Best Original Song category, KPop Demon Hunters is represented by “Golden,” performed by HUNTR/XEJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami. The track dominated Spotify charts following its release and went on to earn four Grammy nominations, including Song of the Year.

Meanwhile, 'K-Pop Demon Hunters,' directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, is an animated action fantasy that follows three K-pop idols who secretly battle supernatural forces. The film has become a worldwide sensation and is the most-watched movie in Netflix history.
