G-Dragon joins aespa for “WDA” collaboration, igniting anticipation for new album 'LEMONADE'

G-Dragon officially joined forces with aespa on their upcoming track, marking a major collaboration in the K-pop industry.

According to music video review results released by KBS on May 7, G-Dragon participated as a featured artist on aespa’s new song, titled “WDA (Whole Different Animal)”.

aespa is set to release their second full-length album, 'LEMONADE,' on May 29 at 1 PM KST. Ahead of the album drop, the group will pre-release “WDA” on May 11 at 6 PM KST. The album is described as the beginning of a new chapter for aespa, showcasing a more refined narrative and the group’s continued musical growth. It will include a total of 10 tracks spanning diverse genres, with “WDA” serving as the opening track that sets the tone for the project.

This collaboration is not the first time aespa and G-Dragon have crossed paths. Karina previously appeared in G-Dragon’s third studio album title track “TOO BAD” music video, released in February last year. Additionally, aespa appeared on the MBC variety show 'Good Day,' which was led by G-Dragon.

With “WDA,” anticipation is high for the creative synergy between aespa and G-Dragon, as fans look forward to the unique sound and performance the collaboration is expected to deliver.
