G-Dragon wraps up 2025 World Tour with BIGBANG reunion, Coachella teasers, and star-studded guest list
by Helena-son · allkpopG-Dragon has officially declared the "Return of the King" at the grand finale of his world tour.
On December 14, G-Dragon held the final show of his tour, 'G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch] IN SEOUL : ENCORE', at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
Opening the show in a striking white outfit—a contrast to the red suit he wore at the tour's start in March—G-Dragon captivated the audience immediately. After performing "Power" and the stage for "Home Sweet Home" featuring fellow BIGBANG members Taeyang and Daesung, he greeted the fans, saying, "How have you been? I'm back".
He hyped up the crowd, stating, "This is the real finale show in my hometown, Seoul. Are you ready to pour everything out today?".
G-Dragon revealed that the concert was being filmed for a future theatrical release. "We installed special high-quality cameras today. It's to capture me looking good, but also to capture you all," he explained, encouraging fans to put down their phones and enjoy the moment so they look good on the big screen.
G-Dragon also reflected on the tour's difficult beginning. He alluded to the criticism regarding the March concert in Goyang, which suffered from delays and sound issues due to severe weather. "My heart was heavy starting the world tour with a natural disaster," he confessed. "For 8 months, I worked hard to 'put a roof over it'".
He also dropped major news regarding BIGBANG's future activities. Noting that 2026 marks BIGBANG's 20th Anniversary, he said, "BIGBANG will start warming up from April. It's like a workshop". He confirmed their appearance at the Coachella Festival, joking, "It's in the US, so don't feel pressured, but if you happen to be studying nearby or traveling, how about it?".
Aside from the BIGBANG members, the stage featured a collaboration with national representative beatboxer Wing and Beatpella House for a remix of "Heartbreaker".
The audience was just as star-studded. Kwanghee (ZE:A) posted photos with Im Si Wan holding lightsticks and shared a backstage moment holding hands with G-Dragon, calling him a "real prince". Park Myung Soo, G-Dragon's former 'Infinite Challenge' partner, also posted a proof shot from the audience with a heart emoji.
The three-day encore concert (Dec 12-14) drew 54,000 fans, including international fans. This marked the completion of a massive tour scale for a solo artist, spanning 39 shows in 17 cities across Asia, the US, and Europe.
