Tiffany says Sooyoung is her closest friend in Girls' Generation

Tiffany revealed that Sooyoung is her best friend in Girls' Generation.

On October 4, the first episode of the global K-food talk show 'BYOB' was uploaded on the YouTube channel 'JohnMaat.'

In this episode, the two MCs, Park Joon Hyung and Brian, introduced a cozy spot, a K-Pocha (Korean pub), with a stunning view of the Seoul nightscape.

Guest Tiffany Young, the show's first guest, shared her excitement saying, "Since both MCs are from the first generation of idols, so I think we can have conversations from different perspectives. I also love this romantic concept of the K-Pocha."

In line with the show's title 'BYOB (Bring Your Own Booze), Tiffany brought Cass, Korean beer and shared she wanted more people to know about K-beer since there are other Korean aspects of Korean culture that are so well known.

The conversation continued with Tiffany discussing the musical 'Chicago.' She revealed she is currently playing the role of Roxie Hart in the musical and shared, "Even before Girls' Generation, I wanted to be a musical actress. I saw 'Chicago' when I was young and thought 'I want to be in this show.' After auditioning, I got the role. This is my second season."

During the talk show, Park Joon Hyung and Brian also congratulated Tiffany for being nominated for the 'Best New Actress Award' at the 29th Busan International Film Festival for her role in the film 'Uncle Samsik.'

The two hosts also asked Tiffany who was her closest friend in Girls' Generation as the group celebrated their 17th anniversary. She replied, "I can have deep conversations with Sooyoung. Sooyoung also lived abroad when she was young, so we bonded a lot during our trainee days." She added, "Yuri is my party friend. For my birthday, she came over with a bottle of champagne and said, 'You know this is really good, right?' and then drank it all by herself," making everyone laugh.

Meanwhile, each episode of 'BYOB' will feature Korean dishes that are sold in Korean pubs that will suit the drinks the guests will bring. New episodes of 'BYOB' will be released every Friday at 10 AM on the YouTube channel 'JohnMaat.'
