BOYNEXTDOOR prove their streaming power as 'VIRAL' keeps climbing the charts

BOYNEXTDOOR are showing exactly why they've earned the "chart powerhouse" label, with their latest release holding strong across both domestic and international charts.

The group's first full-length album 'HOME,' which dropped on June 8, is still going strong. Its title track 'VIRAL' landed at No. 37 on Melon's latest weekly chart (tracking June 15–21, announced on the 22nd). And it wasn't alone — three more of the group's songs made the same weekly chart, with the B-side 'Knock Knock Knock' at No. 86, 'ADIOS!' at No. 96, and their digital single 'Only Today I LOVE YOU' at No. 60. Four songs charting at once is no small feat.

'VIRAL' has been holding its own elsewhere too. The track sat at No. 29 on Melon's daily chart (June 21), No. 13 on Apple Music's 'Today's Top 100: South Korea' (June 20), and No. 25 on Korea's Spotify 'Daily Top Song' — a spread that points to real staying power rather than a one-week spike. On top of that, BOYNEXTDOOR lifted a No. 1 trophy on KBS2's 'Music Bank.'

The album itself has been just as hot. 'HOME' became the group's fourth consecutive million-seller and topped Circle Chart's latest weekly album chart (June 7–13). Over in Japan, it swept Billboard Japan's 'Top Album Sales' and 'Hot Albums,' along with Oricon's weekly album ranking and weekly combined album ranking (June 8–14) — proof that their fandom firepower reaches well beyond Korea.

'VIRAL' is a song built around the members' wish for their music to spread far and wide. Myung Jaehyun and Woonhak both took part in its creation, weaving in the group's signature color. With its lyrical mood, paired choreography, and a sharp dance break, the song has been praised for capturing the feel of "2nd-3rd generation K-pop," while the members trade their familiar boyish charm for something more grounded and charismatic.

Riding that momentum, BOYNEXTDOOR cleaned up at the 35th Seoul Music Awards on June 20, held at Inspire Arena in Yeongjong-do, Incheon. They walked away with four trophies, including the Best Album Award, a Bonsang (main prize), the World Best Artist Award, and the R&B Hip-hop Award.

And they're not slowing down. On June 22 at 1 PM KST, the group released 'VIRAL (SANTOS BRAVOS Remix),' the first in a planned series of collaboration remixes they'll roll out one by one — a clear play to reel in listeners around the globe.
