BOL4's Ahn Ji Young reflects on 10-year journey and shares joyful update on music comeback

Singer Ahn Ji Young of BOL4 (Bolbbalgan4) reflected on her 10th anniversary since debut, sharing her thoughts and recent updates during a radio appearance.

On the afternoon of May 5, the SBS Power FM radio program 'Cultwo Show' featured a special segment titled 'Special Live,' with guests Ahn Ji Young and Hong Isaac appearing on the show. DJ Muzie joined as a special host, while DJ Kim Tae Gyun also took part in the broadcast.

During the program, Ahn Ji Young candidly shared her recent lifestyle and mindset. She said, “I didn’t really release albums for a while and just spent time going out and living freely. Now I feel more fulfilled and I’m working hard on music again. I’m really happy these days. I’ve been traveling and meeting a lot of people I like.” DJ Kim Tae Gyun commented that she seemed noticeably brighter and happier, which drew agreement from the studio atmosphere.

The singer recently released a new single, "Find You," on April 22. Marking her 10th year since debut, she revealed that the milestone played an important role in shaping the release. “It’s my 10th anniversary this year. It feels like a long time has passed. I thought about what fans would like most for this anniversary, and I decided a music gift would be best, so I filled it with three tracks,” she explained.

She also described the release as a mini-album-like single. The title track, "Find You," holds special meaning as it was originally written around the time of her debut. “I made it beautifully, and I wrote and composed all three songs,” she added.

Reflecting on her 10-year journey, Ahn Ji Young said, “Time feels like it has passed so quickly. A lot has happened and I’ve built so many memories. I’m looking forward to what comes next.”

When asked by a listener what she would say to her past self from 10 years ago, she responded warmly: “First, I’d tell myself not to worry so much. I tend to worry a lot. I’d say, ‘You’re going to become a superstar, you little one.’”
