So Ji Sub desperately pleads with Joo Sang Wook in new 'The Dream Life of Mr. Kim' stills

SBS's upcoming Friday-Saturday drama 'The Dream Life of Mr. Kim' has unveiled new stills teasing a tense first confrontation between So Ji Sub and Joo Sang Wook.

Based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name, 'The Dream Life of Mr. Kim' follows an ordinary father who becomes the world's most dangerous man in order to rescue his only daughter.

So Ji Sub stars as Kim Bu Jang, a seemingly ordinary savings bank employee who was once a special operations agent. Joo Sang Wook takes on his first major villain role as Joo Kang Chan, a ruthless power figure who rose from hired thug to construction company chairman.

The newly released stills show Kim Bu Jang kneeling before Joo Kang Chan for the sake of his daughter, Min Ji. After Joo Kang Chan's daughter threatens to bring Min Ji before a school violence committee, Kim Bu Jang puts aside his pride and pleads for leniency.

In contrast, Joo Kang Chan looks down at him with a cold expression, creating an atmosphere of tension and unease. The scene raises anticipation over what consequences Kim Bu Jang's desperate decision may bring.

According to the production team, So Ji Sub fully immersed himself in portraying a father's heartfelt desperation, while Joo Sang Wook delivered an intense and charismatic performance as the drama's antagonist.

Meanwhile, 'The Dream Life of Mr. Kim' premieres on June 26 at 9:50 PM KST.
