Amitabh Bachchan was born to a legendary port Harivansh Rai Bachchan and Teji Bachchan on October 11, 1842, in Allahabad. Amitabh celebrates his second birthday on August 2. Well, the actor suffered a near-fatal injury during the shoot of Coolie in 1982 and was filming an action sequence for the Manmohan Desai directorial with Puneet Issar. Well, Big B got the timing of the action wrong and Puneet accidentally pushed his gut. Due to this, Amitabh Bachchan lost consciousness and was rushed to St Philomena's hospital in Bengaluru for an emergency operation.

After the accident on Coolie set, the superstar was declared clinically dead due to the excessive bleeding in the abdomen. After hours of medical attention, the doctors revived him by giving him an adrenaline injection on August 2, 1882.
