Govinda health update: Tina Ahuja breaks silence on her dad's accident, 'Aap sab log...'

Recently, Bollywood actor Govinda accidentally shot himself on his leg. His daughter, Tina Ahuja, has shared an update on her father's health.

Actor Govinda is currently in a hospital in Mumbai after he accidentally shot himself on his leg. The actor shot himself early in the morning of Tuesday while he was reportedly cleaning his revolver. The actor is currently admitted to the Criticare Hospital in Mumbai. A lot of his friends from the film industry visited the actor at the hospital. Now, the Coolie No. 1 star's daughter, Tina Ahuja, has shared an update on her father.

As reported by Pinkvilla, Govinda's daughter, Tina Ahuja, has requested people to pray for the actor. She told the media that her papa is getting better and God has been kind to them. "Aap sab log, please unhe apne prayers me continuously rakhiye. Sab kuch theek hai abhi ICU se he has come back to the normal ward and everything is good and now he is healthy and happy. I request that you keep him in your prayers continuously. Everything is fine and he is in the ICU."

As soon as the news came out that Govinda accidentally shot himself and has undergone treatment, the Albela star shared a voice note assuring his fans that he is okay. In the voicenote, the Shiv Sena leader said that due to the blessings of his parents, his fans, and his guru, the bullet that hit him has been removed. He expressed his gratitude to the doctors who treated him, especially Dr. Aggarwal. He thanked people for keeping him in their prayers.

After the actor was admitted to the hospital, Sunita Ahuja rushed to the hospital immediately. Krushna Abhishek's wife, Kashmera Shah, was also spotted outside the hospital. Recently, Sunita requested the media not spread any rumours regarding the incident. The doctors stated that the actor will be discharged within 2 days.

On the work front, Govinda was last seen in the movie Rangeela Raja. Directed by Pahlak Nihalani, the film was released in theatres in 2019 and was a flop at the box office. It was a remake of Rajinikanth's Tamil film Netrikan. The actor also worked as the judge of dance reality show Dance Bangla Dance in 2016, 2018, and 2021. Govinda has not signed any movie since his 2019 theatrical release.
