Pardes (1997) is considered one of Shah Rukh Khan's most loved movies. From performances to songs, the audiences love everything about it. The romantic drama also marked Mahima Chaudhry's debut in Bollywood. Directed by Subhash Ghai, the film also stars Apurva Agnihotri and Amrish Puri. Recently, Mahima has been getting candid about working in the movie and shared some interesting anecdotes.

In an interview with a radio channel, Mahima Chaudhry, who plays Ganga, revealed that the cast waited for several days for Shah Rukh Khan to arrive on set. The Dhadkan actress revealed that the team waited for Khan for at least 15-20 days. "Everyone kept saying he would arrive today or tomorrow, but he didn’t show up. When he finally did, everyone huddled around him, because we were all new, and waited for him to say, 'Hi'. Once he started a conversation, everyone would listen. He is full of stories," revealed Mahima.

Further in this entertainment news, Mahima Chaudhry revealed that she would sit and watch SRK do his scenes, perform his lines, and dance steps. Watching him would help Mahima learn.

Earlier in another interview, Mahima stated that her debut with Pardes was better than anything one could dream of. She stated how luck plays a key role and she didn't get the movie just because she was the most talented actress at that time. "There were so many people who were more talented than me," revealed Chaudhry.
