Stree 2 director Amar Kaushik expressed his desire to direct Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. Here's what he said.

Bollywood director Amar Kaushik who won hearts with the success of Stree 2 film starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao recently revealed a desire to work with Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. In a conversation with the YouTube channel Men Of Culture, Kaushik revealed how his family measures success in terms of collaborations with Bollywood superstars.

Amar revealed a conversation with his family, wherein he said that the day he works with Salman Khan or Shah Rukh Khan, they will consider him a true director. Amar also said that his family has always been enthusiastic about his collaboration with the superstars. He also revealed that he wants to stay on the ground and make films that touch people's hearts, especially the younger generation.

Moreover, he added saying that he respects the humongous attraction and fan following that Shah Rukh and Salman carry. Kaushik said that he believes in making a film that shows his style and vision. He also said that how his work in the space of horror comedies is what makes him different from the commercial films. He revealed how he likes to try out genres and his fascination began during his initial days when he was directing No One Killed Jessica. He also expressed his desire to have a chance to collaborate with Shah Rukh or Salman and called it fantastic. He also said that he is not in a rush to change his cinematic approach and prefers his work to speak for itself.

The entire cast will be reuniting for the third installment titled Stree 3. During the trailer launch, producer Dinesh Vijan confirmed that they already have plans for the third film. On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is currently busy with his upcoming projects. His film King will go on floors in January 2025 and wrap up by mid-2025. Pathaan 2 will go on floors by the end of 2025 or early 2026.
