Here's looking at a film of a star kid that was made on a humongous budget but tanked so miserably at the box office that it did not even manage to reach the mark of a lakh. We are talking about Arjun Kapoor's movie The Lady Killer.
The Lady Killer released in the year 2023 and it starred Bhumi Pednekar as the female lead. It was directed by Ajay Bahl and was produced under the banner of Bhushan Kumar's T-series. The film's budget was approximately Rs 45 crore. But at the box office, Arjun Kapoor starrer made only Rs 70,000. The film's story revolved around a man running a pharmacy in Nainital. He comes across a dangerous woman and falls in love with her. There comes a twist when the duo plan a murder. The movie has also scored a very low rating of 1.9 on IMDb. It is now available on YouTube to watch for free. The Lady Killer is one of the biggest flops in Arjun Kapoor's career and in Bollywood's history. His previous film Kuttey wasn't a box office hit either. The film that released in 2023 made Rs 4.65 crore at the box office. The budget of the film was around Rs 35 crore.
But well, hits and flops are a part of every actor's journey. The Lady Killer fiasco hasn't stopped Arjun Kapoor from working hard and bagging new films. The actor is looking forward to the release of Singham Again. He is going to play the villain in this Rohit Shetty directorial. Stalwarts like Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone are a part of this film. It is releasing on November 1, during the Diwali festival. It is going to clash with Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
