YRF's spy-universe is getting bigger. The franchise is all about RAW agents fighting the evil to save the country. It started with Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger that turned into a superhit franchise. Then came Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan that led to a box office storm in the year 2023. Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's WAR is also a part of this franchise. After the Bollywood superstar hunks, YRF has including Bollywood beauties in the spy-universe. The next in line Alpha that has Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh as the lead.

Alpha starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh was officially announced back in July 2024 and it was big update in entertainment news. The production house dropped a teaser with a voice over of Alia Bhatt talking about a mission titled Alpha. Now, the release date of the film has been announced. It is going to be a big Christmas release as the film will hit the theatres on December 25, 2025. Alia Bhatt took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to announce that Alpha will release in December 2025. She shared the poster of the film with the logo and announced the date. The YRF spy-thriller is going to release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Alpha is directed by Shiv Rawail. He is best know for web series The Railway Men that is up on Netflix.

The second instalment of War 2 is also on cards under YRF Spy Universe. Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR and Kiara Advani starrer is expected to hit the theatres in August 2025. The shooting of the same is currently underway and some of the BTS videos have already gone viral on social media. With there be a connection between War 2 and Alpha? We will have to wait and see.
