Baby John box office collection day 1 prediction report
Going by the latest reports, Varun Dhawan-starrer Baby John is going to witness a lukewarm response at the box office. If a report in entertainment news section of Etimes is to be believed, Baby John may make around Rs 13 to Rs 14 crore on its opening day. The numbers seem to have been achieved by the Christmas boost as the film released on December 25. Bollywood films have had a tough time at the box office, especially post the pandemic. Thus, hitting a double digit number on opening day comes across as a good start for Baby John. However, it is far behind from Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 that made around Rs 35 crore on its opening day in domestic market. Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's movie Stree 2 managed to cross the mark of Rs 50 crore on its opening day. However, one must note that these were franchise films that have developed ardent fan followers over the years.
Baby John also seem to be suffering due to the craze of Pushpa 2: The Rule. Allu Arjun's movie released on December 5 and is still doing well at the box office. It has turned out to be among the highest grossing films ever. The Hindi version of the film has crossed the mark of Rs 700 crore leaving behind films like Animal, Jawan and more. Even after a few weeks of its release, Pushpa 2 remains unstoppable.
