Ratan Tata is no more. The man who took India to a global stage with the industrial transformation left for his heavenly adobe on October 9, 2024. He breathed his last at Breach Candy, hospital in Mumbai. His mortal remains were kept at NCPA ground for the public to pay their last homage. A lot of big names from the field of politics, industry, Bollywood and others showed up to pay their respects. Ratan Tata reportedly got into films and produced a movie called Aetbaar. It starred Amitabh Bachchan, Bipasha Basu and John Abraham in key roles. It was a psychological thriller that was directed by Vikram Bhatt. If reports are to be believed, Aetbaar that released in 2004 was made on a budget of Rs 9.5 crore. However, it turned out to be a major flop despite big names being attached. As per reports, the movie made only Rs 8 crore at the box office. It couldn’t recover is budget as well.

This was the first and the last time that Ratan Tata produced a movie. However, he remained popular for his Bollywood connections. In the past, he was linked to actress Simi Garewal. Reportedly, they briefly dated each other. But their relationship could not go to the next step and they parted ways. However, they remained to be good friends over the years. Simi Garewal in an interview with Times of India had stated that she and Ratan Tata go a way long. She called him a perfect gentleman who had a good sense of humour. As the reports of his demise hit headlines, Simi Garewal took to her social media account to mourn the loss. She wrote that his passing is quite hard to bear.
