Himani Shivpuri recalls working with Shah Rukh Khan; shares what makes him the most special person

Actress Himani Shivpuri opened up about working with Shah Rukh Khan in the past. She spoke about how he has been a special person.

Himani Shivpuri has been a part of the entertainment industry since a long time. She has done so many amazing Bollywood films and TV shows. She is one of the most loved actresses and has been loved for her performances. She is currently seen in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan as Katori Amma. She has done many films with Shah Rukh Khan. They were seen together in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and more. Himani Shivpuri spoke about her bond with the Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan.

Himani Shivpuri recalls working with SRK

She said that she has worked with big stars like Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, and Saif Ali Khan but her experience working with Shah Rukh Khan stands out. She said that they worked together in In Which Annie Gives It Those Ones, which was a cult classic ahead of its time. She shared that SRK was a struggling actor at that time and she didn't even notice him that time.

She further shared how during Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, SRK met her and told her that they had worked together before and she was shocked as she had no idea about this. The movie is still one of the most talked about in entertainment news. She added, "It was such a heartwarming moment to see that even after achieving superstar status, he remembered those early days fondly. After he mentioned it, I rewatched the film and saw him there, young, and eager. It filled me with pride to see how far he had come while remaining so humble."

Himani Shivpuri calls SRK a special person

She added that their relationship has grown based on mutual respect and admiration. Himani Shivpuri said that despite his immense success, Shah Rukh Khan remains grounded and genuinely appreciates the people he has worked with. She then recalled the iconice saree scene in Dilwale Dulhania Lee Jayenge and said how his scenes was shot already but he waited and did his work until others finish their scene.

She further said, "That kind of commitment is what makes him special—not just as a star, but as a person. To this day, he admires my work, and I feel honoured that he included me in his list of top ten favourite actresses at an awards event."
